At Traveltrust we’ve partnered with SAP Concur to provide you with an Online Booking Tool that will allow greater flexibility in booking your travel whilst maintaining the service and reporting capabilities of the standard Traveltrust package.

 

Over the years we have received a lot of questions about Concur, so we thought we’d put together this handy bite-sized FAQ for anyone that might have a similar question. Lets get into it!

What if I do not book my own travel?

Good news! You can select an assistant or arranger to reserve your travel.

  • On the My Concur page, click Profile and then click the Assistants link at the top of the page.
  • Click Add an Assistant to add the person who you would like to authorise to reserve your travel. This person can now update your profile and also make travel arrangements for you.

If you do not see your travel arranger in the list of people to select from, that individual might not have access to Concur Travel. To add your arranger to the list, send a request to your travel administrator.

Why should I use Concur Travel & Expense instead of calling an agent directly?

Concur allows you to quickly make plans after viewing your travel options. In addition, you have access to Internet fares and can quickly compare travel times and all the options. It is best used for travellers making quick, short-haul bookings as these are easily done, and low-cost carriers never offer much scope for savings.

How is ticket fulfillment handled?

When you use Concur to reserve your ticket, Traveltrust will handle fulfillment/ticketing in the same manner as an agent reservation. Simple!

What happens if I do not comply with company policy?

When you go outside of your company policy, Concur notifies you by showing the fare with a yellow or red tab. When you select a yellow or red tab, Concur prompts you to enter an explanation as to why you chose a fare that did not comply with your company’s policy. This then goes to your company administrator or manager for approval.

Can I add a car or hotel to an airline reservation after it is booked?

Yup! You can make changes before your ticket is issued. To add or modify your trip, click the name of the trip on the Upcoming Trips section of My Concur and then click Change Trip.

Where do I view my itinerary?

Concur Travel will send your itinerary to you immediately after you confirm the trip. Traveltrust will then email your final itinerary when it is ticketed. In addition, you can view your itinerary from in the Upcoming Trips section on the My Concur or Travel pages.

Is there a mobile app?

 There sure is – And it’s a good looking one too! The app is available for download in the app store on your respective smartphone.

Can I have multiple admin’s for an account?

 Yep, the great thing about Concur is its flexibility. Much like Traveltrust’s service, we can mould it to suit your needs. Administrators can be added, set per traveller or for the whole company, and can see what you want them to see.

I have different departments in a company, can I have different policies depending on the department that a traveller works for?

 You can. Simply let us know before we begin setting up your company site, and we can get all the correct policies in place per company, per traveller or per however you would like it.
